How sustainability is anchored at Scheuch
Sustainability is a fundamental part of how we act and of our company. Social, ecological and economic aspects are taken into account in every decision we make.
By developing and producing plants, devices and components with low consumption and low emissions, we contribute every day to protecting people and preserving an environment worth living in. To secure the future of coming generations, we work to reduce all burdens on employees, customers and the environment.
We take responsibility for continuously reducing our own ecological footprint — not only through our products and solutions, but also by acting prudently within our own value chain. This understanding is anchored throughout the entire group.
The principle of sustainability is an essential part of our corporate strategy and our corporate culture. To make sure our measures and our actions are effective, we actively set ourselves targets and measure our success. Only in this way can we address this task authentically as a company.
We set our targets in line with the Sustainable Development Goals of the United Nations (SDGs), and we work particularly actively on several of them: Industry, Innovation & Infrastructure / Responsible Consumption & Production / Climate Action.
Safety and health at Scheuch
Our goal is a working environment in which accidents, injuries and work-related illnesses are avoided as far as possible. Health and safety are part of our HSEQ policy and apply to all companies of the Scheuch Group. In doing so, we follow the principles of EN ISO 45001:2018 for health management and IEC 61511 for the functional safety of process plants.
