Scheuch invests in a testing centre at its Aurolzmünster site
With state-of-the-art testing technology, the environmental technology company is further expanding its expertise in development and manufacturing.
The environmental technology company Scheuch is expanding its capabilities for product development and quality assurance at its Aurolzmünster site. With new test benches, the company will be able to test fans and other components even more precisely in future. A total investment of around eight million euros is planned for the site by 2030.
New testing technology
A new test bench centre has been set up at the headquarters in Aurolzmünster, where fans are tested under realistic conditions. Performance, energy consumption and noise levels can be measured precisely. The data obtained helps to optimise products in a targeted manner.
“At the test bench centre, we can analyse our products even more precisely and develop them further in a targeted manner. This enables us to continuously increase the performance and improve the product quality of our systems and components,” says Stefan Scheuch, CEO of the Scheuch Group.
Investments strengthen manufacturing sites
The test bench centre is part of a comprehensive investment programme at the Aurolzmünster site. In recent years, investments have been made not only in new testing technology but also in machinery and automated manufacturing technologies. For example, a new heavy-duty lathe was recently commissioned, enabling large components to be machined with particular precision.
A total of around eight million euros in investment is planned for the Aurolzmünster site by 2030. The aim is to further strengthen production and drive technological development forward.
At the same time, the international production network is also expanding. The plant at the Prievidza site in Slovakia is currently being expanded to create additional production capacity.
Focus on the next generation
Training young skilled workers also remains a key component of the site strategy. Scheuch is currently looking in particular for apprentices in the fields of design and metal technology.
“We don’t plan for today, but with an eye to what lies ahead. Digitalisation, site development and training are strategic tools for us that secure the future,” affirms Stefan Scheuch, CEO of the Scheuch Group.
