Scheuch establishes joint venture in China
With a new joint venture, the Scheuch Group is strengthening its presence in Asia, a key market of the future. Customers in China and Southeast Asia will benefit from greater proximity, shorter delivery times, and competitive local structures.
The Scheuch Group is taking another strategic step in its international expansion: On July 2, the agreement to establish the joint venture “Scheuch Environmental Technology (Henan) Co. Ltd.” with Chinese partner CHAENG was signed at the company’s Aurolzmünster site. Operations are scheduled to begin in early August.
Driven by industrial growth and increasingly stringent environmental regulations, Asia is developing into a dynamic market for sophisticated environmental technology solutions. The joint venture will enable Scheuch to tap market opportunities in China and throughout Asia more effectively and position itself as a strong partner for complex industrial systems.
As an established Chinese partner, CHAENG contributes local market expertise, customer and supplier relationships, and experience in plant engineering and the manufacture of large industrial components. These capabilities complement Scheuch’s international project and environmental technology expertise, particularly in industries such as minerals, metals, wood, and energy.
Local structures for customers and projects
The joint venture will establish a local entity dedicated to serving the Chinese market independently. Key activities such as sales, project management, procurement, service, and commissioning will be coordinated and carried out locally. Customers will benefit from shorter delivery times, regional points of contact, improved cost structures, and faster project execution.
In close coordination with Scheuch’s subsidiary in Thailand, the company will also further intensify its activities in Southeast Asia.

With Scheuch Environmental Technology (Henan) Co. Ltd., the Scheuch Group is expanding its international network and creating additional growth opportunities in a dynamic market environment. The environmental technology company generated revenue of approximately EUR 321 million in the past fiscal year.
