As one of the largest employers in the Innviertel region, the Scheuch Group once again offered an exciting holiday programme for the children of its employees this year. For three weeks, the company site was all about play, learning, and community.

“Our holiday childcare is an important contribution to improving the work-life balance and a sign of our appreciation for our employees and their families. We want to make everyday life easier for them – and create unforgettable memories for the children,” emphasises CEO Stefan Scheuch.

Exciting Highlights and Creative Activities

In cooperation with its long-standing partner, Kinderfreunde Region Innviertel, Scheuch once again created a fun and educational programme. In 2025, highlights such as a mobile reptile zoo, a forest excursion, a visit to the local fire brigade, a large bouncy castle, and even a stop by CEO Stefan Scheuch’s office brought joy and excitement to the children’s faces.

In Scheuch’s in-house training centre, the children were able to try their hand at practical activities – for example, crafting lanterns to proudly take home. This way, technology became tangible for the youngsters and was combined with fun.

Family-Friendliness as a Core Value

As an internationally active family business, Scheuch is aware of its social responsibility. The holiday childcare programme is a permanent part of the company culture and one of many initiatives aimed at supporting the work-life balance of its employees. “We’re pleased that the programme is so well received – happy families mean motivated employees,” says Stefan Scheuch.

Employees are equally enthusiastic: “The programme was incredibly varied – from creative activities to exciting excursions – and the care provided was warm and committed. Our children didn’t want to go home when we came to pick them up,” reports Johanna Stockenhuber, Team Leader Procurement. For Project Manager Andreas Trausner, the holiday childcare has “long been a highlight our son looks forward to all year – and right after it ends, he says: ‘Next year, I definitely want to come again!’”
