Scheuch Sales Partner Get Together - "Personal beats Digital"INTERCULTURAL, PERSONAL AND INSPIRATIONAL
“If ten of our sales partners will decide to attend our sales partner Get Together, it will already be a success,” commented the initiator of the event, Alois Hermandinger / Head of BU-Industrial Minerals at the first planning meeting back in December 2016. Eventually, the first Sales Partner Get Together took place (September 24th-27th, 2017) with more than 40 people from 30 different countries ranging from Australia and Chile, to Canada and South Korea attending – an extraordinary success as described by all participants.
The motto of the event “Personal beats Digital” also turned out to be spot-on, as summarized by our Jordanian sales partner: “Seeing someone personally and shaking their hand is a completely different feeling than just talking on the phone.”
Victoria Neubacher, assistant to the Head of BU IMI, and the main organizer of the event expresses her thankfulness: “Thanks a lot to our sales partners for your joy, your spirit and your proactive attitude, which has made this event so special! This sales partner get together has created friendships far beyond national boundaries. We are looking forward to growing with you – both professionally and personally!”
DAY 1 – SUNDAY
After the successful welcoming presentation at Scheuch we started by bus towards Salzburg. There, we were picked up by traditional horse-drawn carriages in the style of the Hapsburg monarchy. We greatly enjoyed the ride through the beautiful city, and the joy was even greater, when we realized that all 50 participants successfully made it through the “Ruperti-Kirtag” to the Stieglkeller and no one got lost- YEAH!
DAY 2 – MONDAY
On the second day, the dense program started early with presentations on current top projects and case studies, after-sales, compliance and contract management. Indeed, the focus was to point out the technological competences of Scheuch. The strategic outlook presented by Scheuch’s Managing Director, Jörg Jeliniewski, was very welcomed: “Jörg Jeliniewski has an incredible vision and it is fascinating to follow his words,” so the feedback of some of the sales partners.
At the same time, the spouses of some of our sales partners spent a wonderful day in the Upper Austrian Salzkammergut. Blessed with wonderful sunny weather, the girls visited the Traunsee, the Schlosshotel Orth and the Gmundner Keramik. “The group included many different cultures but we definitely had the same sense of humor”, summarized one enthusiastic organizer.
DAY 3 – TUESDAY
Day three was devoted to “technology”. Colleagues from sales and technology departments presented highlights from the field of filtration and gas cleaning technologies. During excursions to a deconox plant in the Kirchdorfer Zementwerk and the biomass power plant in Timelkam, our guests were able to see some large-scale plants. To experience Scheuch technologies live was a real highlight for many participants. In the evening, everyone came together to the Loryhof, a traditional Austrian pub (“Wirtshaus”) where an extraordinary program was waiting for all participants. The evening concluded with homely austrian food and a traditional “Schuhplattler”-Performance.
DAY 4 – WEDNESDAY
The last day of the sales partner get together took place at the Powtech in Nuremberg. With beer on tap and Schnitzel the last networking sessions came to an end.
