Scheuch LIGNO is celebrating its tenth anniversary with innovative strength, increasing internationalisation and customised solutions for trade and industry.
2025 is a milestone year for Scheuch LIGNO: the specialist for extraction, conveying, disposal and surface technology in the treatment and processing of a wide range of materials is celebrating its tenth anniversary - and can look back on a decade full of technical innovations, stable partnerships and successful expansion. Founded with the aim of optimally serving individual requirements in trade and industry, Scheuch LIGNO has long since established itself as a reliable supplier for a large number of dust-emission-intensive industries.
Ten years of responsibility for clean air
The spin-off of the ‘Wood’ division from Scheuch GmbH in 2015 was the starting signal for independent development with a clear focus: customised solutions, strong customer proximity and technical excellence. With a team of experienced industry experts and its own site in Mehrnbach, Scheuch LIGNO focussed on quality and flexibility right from the start. Investments in modern production technology and continuous expansion of the production area laid the foundations for sustainable growth.
The figures speak for themselves: from its original 89 employees and an operating performance of 16.5 million euros, the company has developed into a medium-sized powerhouse with around 182 employees and a turnover of around 40 million euros. The portfolio has grown steadily: in addition to extraction technology, it now includes conveyor technology, surface technology, heat recovery, fire and explosion protection as well as smart control and safety systems - all from a single source.
A particular highlight of recent years is the development of the dust concentrator for belt drying systems, which reduces their energy consumption by up to 80 % - a major step towards sustainable industrial production.
Strategic growth - regionally strong, globally networked
Scheuch LIGNO is pursuing a clear growth strategy: the strong market position in the DACH region is being further expanded, while at the same time the focus is increasingly on international markets - particularly North America and Northern Europe. The sales realignment forms the organisational backbone for these ambitions: While Thomas Lacher will continue to be responsible for the solid wood division, Rene Stockinger will take over the furniture and metal processing divisions, with the aim of strengthening these sectors in the long term.
Scheuch LIGNO's expertise is also increasingly in demand beyond the wood industry - for example in metal, paper and plastics processing. The proven modular design and high quality standards ‘Made in Austria’ make the company a valued partner in a wide range of industries.
2025 is therefore not just an anniversary year - but a clear signal for the next development step: with proven expertise, innovative products and the clear goal of promoting clean air and safe, efficient production processes worldwide.
The official start to the anniversary year was marked by an atmospheric party at the Mehrnbach site, which was celebrated with the employees on the last weekend of June 2025 - a worthy moment to celebrate successes, express thanks and reaffirm our shared path to a promising future.
