Now it’s getting practical

Young talents are shaping future technologies at Scheuch

As part of their final training projects, various projects have been successfully carried out at Scheuch over the past few months. The trainees worked on specific technical issues from everyday company life and made valuable contributions to the further development of processes and products at the environmental technology company Scheuch in Aurolzmünster.

CO₂, compensators, and more

Franziska Freilinger and Esther Folie from Chemistry-HTL Wels conducted laboratory tests that will be used in the future to verify the CO2 capture efficiency of Scheuch carbon capture systems. The findings will be directly incorporated into the development and design of future environmental technology systems, such as those used by Scheuch to reduce industrial emissions.

Another project, carried out by Simon Zogsberger and Philipp Waldner, two students at HTL Ried, dealt with the automated dimensioning of compensators in plant design – an area that previously required many manual steps. The solution developed promises significantly more efficient and rapid implementation in practice.

In his bachelor's thesis for the University of Applied Sciences in Wels, Lukas Witzmann addressed a technical topic within plant development and heat recovery at Scheuch. This included everything from research and analysis to calculation and design, right through to a basis for decision-making on economic efficiency.

Outstanding achievements

All interns showed a high level of commitment and a deep understanding of the complex tasks. “We are impressed by the technical know-how and practical approach that these young people bring to the table. Work like this is a win-win for everyone involved,” says Stefan Scheuch, CEO of the Scheuch Group.

The supervisory teams would like to thank the talented interns for their commitment and wish them continued success. “At Scheuch, we are always open to interested individuals who want to contribute their ideas and actively shape future technologies. We are happy to support them along the way – whether in internships, theses, or career entry,” emphasizes Michaela Endl, Director of Human Resources, Scheuch Group.
