DRYING

Drying room
As demands on quality increase, and with the more frequent use of water-based coatings, drying must take place in a separate room. This permits the best possible adaptation of temperature, air volume, the proportion of ambient air and the operating mode to the coating characteristics.

Use of ambient air for drying
The volume of fresh air that must be heated for the drying process decreases as more ambient air is added during drying. Because the volume of ambient air depends on the characteristics of the coating being used, the proportion of ambient air can be adjusted on a case-by-case basis via the control panel.

Drying in spray room
A drying zone can also be established in the spray room itself. During the coating process, a portion of the fresh-air or exhaust air is used to flash-off the freshly coated workpieces in the holding area. Air volume and delay times are adjustable.
