Vocational School: 10-week training block, Berufsschule Linz

Period of apprenticeship: 3½ years

A technical draftsman (male or female) performs the following tasks:

  • Read and apply technical documents (plans, etc.)
  • Workflow panning
  • Production of workpieces according to specifications
  • Maintain safety regulations
  • Perform technical calculations, for example, length, time, angle, speed, etc.
  • Develop production and assembly processes
  • Create technical drawings, plans and documents using 2D and 3D programs
