MECHANICAL ENGINEERING

Successful completion of training as mechanical engineer is your basis for a specialist career at Scheuch in the fields:

- Final assembly of filter and fan systems
- Turning and machining of parts
- Technical maintenance
Period of apprenticeship: 3½ years
Vocational School: 10-week training block, Berufsschule in Attnang-Puchheim
Apprentices in mechanical engineering (male or female) perform the following tasks:
- Read and apply technical documents (plans, etc.)
- Workflow planning
- Monitoring compliance with quality standards
- Selection and processing of materials
- Collection and verification of technical data
- Assembly and processing of mechanical parts
- Working with computer-aided (CNC) machinery and devices
- Install, put into operation and check devices and systems
- Make and install spare parts and component elements
- Make and maintain pneumatic and hydraulic control systems
- Perform measurements
- Detect and repair faults and malfunctions in components and machines
