ELECTROSTATIC PRECIPITATOR
Reliable flue gas dedusting (ESP)
The SCHEUCH electrostatic precipitator is an economical and technologically mature solution for removing dust from the flue gases generated by biomass-fired boiler plants. The ESP can be used in all applications that utilize wood and wood waste, bark, straw and similar materials for the generation of inexpensive heat energy. They are used exclusively for dedusting applications requiring clean gas dust concentrations as low as 10 mg/Nm³. By using up to three electrical fields in succession, it is possible to achieve separation rates of up to 99% and more. These precipitators distinguish themselves in particular through solid design, which takes into account the operating conditions and fuel fluctuations of real-world applications. Operators also value their ease of access, which makes maintenance and inspection work easy for operating personnel.
Over the last 10 years, roughly 500 of these electrostatic precipitators have been used to remove dust from plants that burn biomass, scrap wood and waste. Capacities range from 1,500 Bm³/h to 500,000 Bm³/h.
