CONDITIONED SORPTION

For a number of years, so-called fluidized bed processes, which operate on the principle of conditioned dry sorption, have been used more frequently in the cleaning of flue gases. In order to improve the sorption characteristics, water is injected into the exhaust gas or onto the recirculated material for the purpose of self-reactivation.
