Our success story

The family business’ road to success started in 1963 in the heart of the Innviertel with the vision of making pure air. Nowadays, the Scheuch group with more than 1500 employees and about 20 branches around the world is successful as one of the world’s leading environmental technology companies.

This ideology remains to this day and Scheuch is more than aware of its responsibilities, particularly these days. The aim of using sustainable technologies to make a clean world for future generations remains with Scheuch to this day.

Overview of the milestones:

1963

Alois Scheuch takes over his father's sheet metal fabrication business with 6 staff members. His first big order is to build the first ventilation system for the hospital in Ried. Further orders follow from regional customers in the wood industry.

2001

With more than 500 employees, there is an important development:
EMC technology for the cement industry.

1974

Scheuch sets itself up for the metals and industrial minerals industries.

2016

Acquisition of the American ventilation and environment technology specialists CAMCORP with over 70 employees.
Acquisition of the American ventilation and environment technology specialists Schust with over 70 employees.

1980

Scheuch already has more than 100 employees.

1994

New building and opening of production at the Aurolzmünster site. From this point onwards, production takes place at the 9300 m² site. Scheuch joins the energy industry. 1994 is the year of developments: the product range is extended with the electrostatic precipitator, systems for flue gas cleaning in the energy industry and exhaust gas cleaning for the chipboard industry.

1991

Scheuch employs more than 200 people.

1985

Alois Scheuch has the impulse cleaning system for filter bags patented.

1966

The first orders are received from the chipboard industry.

2015

Outsourcing of the wood division and foundation of Scheuch LIGNO in Mehrnbach, Austria
Acquisition of LBH in Wolfsegg, Austria, with over 70 employees.

2019

Reorganisation of the Scheuch group: Scheuch Management Holding GmbH, Scheuch COMPONENTS GmbH founded and four business units established.

2020

Thomas Eberl joins the management at Scheuch Management Holding as CFO
Introduction of SAP as the ERP system at Scheuch COMPONENTS GmbH.
Scheuch had already trained 500 apprentices up to now

2021

Entry into the glass industry with RTO technology.
Start of the digitisation and innovation strategy.

2022

Opening of the DIGI-Cube building at the Aurolzmünster site with space for 60 employees.

2023

Heinz Autischer joins the company as COO and, along with Stefan Scheuch CEO and Thomas Eberl CFO, completes the management at Scheuch Management Holding GmbH.
Scheuch USA receives the largest order in its history: 70 million dollars for the recycling industry.
The mobility transition continues: Scheuch supports its 1.500 employees with large-scale leasing programmes.

2013

Together, Stefan Scheuch and Jörg Jeliniewski lead over 700 employees.
