Systems consisting of extraction aggregates are used in continuous production applications with high machine utilization. In this kind of system, a predetermined number of production machines are grouped together to form an extraction aggregate. The number of fans installed between the extraction point and the filter unit determines the number of groups.

Because chips and dust circulate through the fans, a loss in efficiency can occur when the diameter of the extraction lines is < 500 mm.
