  • Commissioning of machinery and plants
  • Servicing of control and regulating devices
  • Manufacture of control and switching cabinets
  • Final assembly of filter and fan systems
  • Equipment assembly in foreign countries
  • Maintenance


Period of apprenticeship: 3½ years

Vocational School: 10-week training block, Berufsschule Ried im Innkreis / Linz

Apprentices in electrical engineering perform the following tasks:

  • Read and apply technical documents (plans, etc.)
  • Workflow planning
  • Project planning and implementation
  • Selection and processing of materials
  • Processing of materials such as steel, non-ferrous metals and plastics
  • Assemble, wire and install electronic components and control systems
  • Install, put into operation and check electric motors, switching devices and switching systems
  • Perform measurements
  • Detect and correct faults and malfunctions in components and machines
  • Develop protective measures for personnel
  • Collect and verify technical data
  • Inform customers about the use, application and maintenance of equipment
