Newly Developed Metering System Improves Efficiency
Scheuch has developed a new metering unit (feed tank) that is significantly more efficient, especially when used in high-pressure conveyor systems. The increase in efficiency is achieved by optimizing and simultaneously adjusting operation for the maximum operating quantity. Even the material density is automatically adjusted to match the previously set tonnage, making it possible to transport up to 25 percent more material with the same energy requirements.
This system can also mix different materials, e.g., chips and sawdust, in order to reduce fluctuations in material density.
