EXHAUST/PRE-CLEANING
The SAP Process
The SAP process proceeds as follows:Fume collection and wetting with process water
Fumes are extracted directly at the press discharge area using specially constructed extraction hoods; process water is injected directly into the extraction hood. The exhaust gas is separated from the water stream immediately thereafter. The process water is collected in a collection tank and then pumped to a process water cleaning station.
Pre-filtration in a tangential solid matter separator
The water droplets and particulate matter still contained in the gas stream are removed almost in their entirety in the tangential solid matter separator. The pre-cleaned gas can then be fed to the final treatment stage using longer pipe systems than would be possible without pre-filtration.
Process water treatment
The process water is pumped into a settling basin via a large particle screen that removes solid matter. Continuously discharging small amounts of water further stabilizes the water quality, ensuring long-lasting and problem-free operation.
