DESIGN EMC

EMC filter technology from Scheuch has revolutionised the dedusting in the cement industry over the last decade. New standards could be set in bag length, pressure loss, cleaning pressure and bag operating time. The results are a clear reduction in the life cycle costs (LCC). Thanks to the patent, EMC is unique and is deemed to be the Best Available Technology (BAT) in process filters – also in comparison to electrostratic and reverse-air filters.
8-m-filter bags - standard by Scheuch
Today, the use of filter bags with a length of 8 metres prioritised by Scheuch (EMC 8M) has become standard, more than 40 EMC filter plants are equipped with this bag length worldwide. Filter bags with a length of 10 metres (EMC 10M) are already being used in plants with a capacity greater than 500,000 m³/h.

EMC worldwide No. 1
More than 190 EMC filter plants installed within the first ten years underline the superiority of this technology worldwide. Of these, 84 EMC filters have been implemented in Europe, 86 in Asia, 23 in Africa plus 15 in South and North America. They are used for extracting the dust from ovens, mills and clinker coolers and as bypass filters for air volumes from 100,000 to more than 2,000,000 Am³/h.
