The extraction plants for the pellet manufacturing process have extraction points for extracting cooling air following the press process, as well as for extracting air from chip conveyors, transfer points, elevators, etc. These are operated below atmospheric pressure with a downstream fan unit.

The LIGNO filters used for filtration are implemented exclusively as insulated designs.  Temperatures that fall below the dew point, i.e., temperatures capable of causing the condensation of water vapor and acidic fumes that can cause corrosive damage to the filter, are thus reliably excluded.
